Bread Bonda/Rolls

Similar to bajjis, but more crispy and yes its Yum Yum Yummy !!! Perfect evening snack

Cooking time : 15 min .         
Preparation time: 15 mins 





Ingredients: 
1. Bread Slices – 4(White/Brown Bread)
2. Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
3. Potatoes – 3 (Boiled , Peeled and Mashed)
4. Green peas – 1/3 cup
5. Green chillies – 3 (Can add based on whether you like it spicy or not)
6. Mint leaves – 1 tsp (Chopped)
7. Coriander leaves – 1/3 cup (Chopped)
8. Cumin Seeds – 1tsp
9. Onion – 1/2(Finely Chopped)
10. Red Chilly Powder – 1 tsp
11. Coriander powder – 1tsp
12. Turmeric Powder – 1tsp
13. Chaat Masala – 1tsp
14. Salt – as per taste
15. Oil  - 2tsp + for deep frying  

Method:
1. Heat 2tsp of oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, as it turn its color add onion, ginger garlic paste, chillies and saute for a min
2. Add green peas, potatoes(mashed), mint leaves, red chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala, coriander and salt
3. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes
4.  Remove from heat and keep aside to cool
5. Once the mixture cools, take a small portion and roll it into small ball as done for chapati in your hand
6. Take a slice of bread, cut the edges(brown color) and dip it in water
7. Squeeze the excess water by keeping the bread slice between your palms and pressing it
8. Place the mixture ball done on the middle of slice and cover it with the bread making it in ball shape or even slight  rectangle shape
9. Heat oil in a kadai, and deep fry the bread ball done until it turns golden brown. Drain on tissue paper
10. Repeat the same for other slices and Enjoy with some chutney or as it is 

Note:
Make sure that the mixture is fully covered without any gap, the bread expands when heated in oil and there are chances of  opening and spread of mixture if not covered properly
